加州40年冷案稿告破!谋杀12人强奸45人 “金州杀手”、“东区强奸犯”落网

【美洲华联社沙加缅度讯】加州沙加缅度县地检署于4月25日会同FBI等警政部门举行新闻发布会,宣布72岁的前警官Joseph James DeAngelo被逮捕。警方认为,DeAngelo是在20世纪70年代和80年代在加州发生的数十起强奸和多起谋杀案的嫌犯,当时嫌犯被成为“金州杀手”。DeAngelo被逮捕,或可解开数十年的谜团。

据介绍,DeAngelo是在24日晚在位于沙加缅度县Citrus Heights的家中被捕的,罪名是涉嫌在1978年谋杀Brian Maggiore和他的妻子Katie, 这对夫妻被认为是死于“金州杀手”的第一对受害者。DeAngelo也被控于1980年3月13号在Lyman 和Charlene Smith夫妻的家中将两人残忍杀害。

沙加缅度县地检署检察官Anne Marie Schubert)表示,DNA检测结果显示,DeAngelo迪安吉多与这些案件有关。目前DeAngelo被关押在沙加缅度监狱,不得保释。
