周日的抗议活动与乔治·弗洛伊德（George Floyd）在明尼阿波利斯警方拘留期间死亡、布雷昂娜·泰勒（Breonna Taylor）在警方突袭她在路易斯维尔的公寓时死亡以及近年来其他有色人种在警方手中死亡的案件有关。
集会预计将于上午11:30开始，由小孟加拉国青年团体在西北大街925号组织示威，并计划在下午6:30在相思大道和柳布鲁克大道之间的康普顿大道举行烛光守夜。
